Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s talk about gettin’ them PDFs over to Google Sheets. Sounds fancy, huh? But it ain’t so bad once you get the hang of it. Like my old pappy used to say, “Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes,” and that’s kinda how it is with this computer stuff.
So, first things first, you gotta get that PDF file somewheres Google can see it. That means uploading it to Google Drive. Think of it like puttin’ yer preserves on the shelf in the pantry. Gotta keep ’em safe and sound so you can get to ’em later.
Now, Google Drive, she’s a picky eater. She don’t much like PDFs directly. So, we gotta trick her a bit. You gotta open that PDF with Google Docs. It’s like takin’ them preserves out of the jar and puttin’ ’em in a bowl. Makes it easier to eat, ya know?
Once you got that PDF lookin’ all pretty in Google Docs, you can start pickin’ and choosin’ what you want. See them numbers and words? That’s the good stuff. You gotta copy that data. Just like you’d scoop out the best parts of the preserves with a spoon.

- Highlight it with your mouse thingy, like you’re drawin’ a circle around it.
- Then, right-click and hit “Copy,” or if you’re fancy, press Ctrl and C at the same time. That’s like tellin’ the computer, “Hey, remember this!”
Now for the magic! Open up a brand spankin’ new Google Sheet. It’s like gettin’ a clean plate for your preserves. And then, you paste that data right in there. Right-click and hit “Paste,” or press Ctrl and V. Boom! Like magic, them numbers and words show up in the sheet.
