This here Nelko label printer, it’s a right curious thing. Got one for the shop, helps keep things straight, you know? Like, when we get a new batch of them pickles, gotta slap a label on them jars. This little machine, it does the trick.
Nelko P21, that’s the name of this here thing. It’s small, don’t take up too much space on the counter. And it connects to your phone, they say. Something called “Bluetooth.” Don’t rightly know what that is, but the young’uns, they seem to get it. They fiddled with it for a bit, and next thing you know, labels were popping out!
Now, I ain’t no tech whiz. But even I figured out a few things. You gotta put the paper in just right. There’s a little clip thingy on the side, near that light. You open it up, and slide the paper roll in. Make sure you get the right kind of paper, though. Label paper, they call it.
- First, you find that little clip.
- Then you pop it open.
- Slide that paper roll in there.
- Close it back up tight.
And, they say there’s some kind of setting you gotta change. Something about “paper type” or “media type.” Makes it go slower, they said. Less chance of it messing up the labels. Important thing, that. Don’t want no crooked labels on my pickle jars! Folks ’round here like things neat. It says in the little book that came with it, you need to change this to “Labels.” That’s all the book said.
There is a button on the side. That is how you turn it on. Make sure you charge it up first, though. Don’t wanna run out of juice in the middle of printing. That would be a right mess.
You can use this Nelko label printer without a computer. Just some kind of keyboard thing. Lets you pick different designs for your labels. Fancy stuff, that. We just use the plain ones, though. Don’t need nothing too wild for our shop. This Nelko P21, it seems pretty good for that. Simple, you know.
They got this app thing, too. You download it on your phone. Then you can make all sorts of labels. Different sizes, different words. Even pictures, I think. The young’uns are always messing around with that. They showed me how to make a label with a picture of a pickle on it. Funny thing, that. I don’t see it on the little instruction book, but that is what the young’uns do. They put a picture of a pickle on my pickle labels!
Once you got your label all designed, you just hit “print” on the phone, and the little machine does its thing. Spits out a label, ready to stick on whatever you need. Pretty handy, I gotta say. This little Nelko P21 is sure better than writing everything out by hand. My hands aren’t what they used to be.
Now, I heard some folks use this for shipping labels, too. You know, for sending packages. They say you can make shipping labels with it. Don’t do much of that myself. But if you do, this little Nelko label printer might be just what you need. You gotta get it all set up with your computer or phone, though. That’s the tricky part.
You gotta make sure you have the right kind of label paper for those shipping labels, though. They’re bigger than the ones we use for our pickles. And you gotta make sure everything’s lined up just right. Don’t want no messy labels on your packages.
This Nelko label printer, it’s a good little machine, far as I can tell. Makes labeling things a whole lot easier. Even for someone like me, who don’t know much about all this newfangled technology. Just gotta remember to charge it up, put the paper in right, and pick the right setting. And maybe get one of them young’uns to help you with the app, if you’re feeling adventurous.
This Nelko P21, it’s a lifesaver, I tell ya. Saves me a whole lot of time and trouble. And keeps my pickle jars looking nice and neat. That’s important, you know. Folks ’round here appreciate a well-labeled jar of pickles. And this little printer, it helps me do just that.
The only problem I have had is when the little light turns red. The instructions do not say anything about a red light! And I cannot get the labels to print when that light is red. I just turn it off and turn it back on again, and that seems to fix it. Maybe I should read that instruction book again. They call it a Nelko P21 Manual, I think.
