- Once you got that “7-Zip” thing, you click on that “.zip” file with the right side of the mouse. Yeah, the right side. Don’t ask me why, that’s just how it is. Then you find where it says “7-Zip” and click on that. Then you click on “extract here.” Sounds like pullin’ teeth, I know, but it’s just a few clicks.
- And boom! There’s your “.gba” file. Right there, plain as day. Just like when you finally find that missing sock in the dryer. Now you can use it with your emulator, or whatever you do with them game files.
Now, some folks say you can just copy the “.gba” file outta the “.zip” file. Like, peek inside the baggie and grab what you need. Right-click on it, they say, then click “copy,” then go put it on your “desktop” – that’s what my grandkids told me, it’s like the table top for your computer. Sounds easy enough, but I ain’t tried it myself. I like to get the whole thing out at once, you know? Don’t wanna leave nothin’ behind.
And if all else fails, try doin’ it on a “PC.” That’s one of them regular computers, not a phone or a tablet. Sometimes them little gadgets ain’t strong enough to do the job. It’s like tryin’ to plow a field with a garden trowel.
