Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about this Instagram thing, yeah, that picture app the young’uns are always fiddlin’ with. They keep changin’ it up, makin’ it hard for us old folks to keep up. So, someone told me about “reordering Instagram posts.” Sounds fancy, huh? Like puttin’ your chickens back in the coop in the right order, but with pictures.
Now, I ain’t no expert, but from what I gather, it ain’t as easy as pie. You’d think you could just drag them pictures around like you’re shufflin’ cards, but no sirree. Instagram, they don’t make it that simple. They say you can’t just rearrange your posts once you’ve slapped ’em up there. It’s like plantin’ seeds – once they’re in the ground, they’re there to stay.
I heard tell there’s somethin’ called a “carousel story,” but that ain’t gonna help us much neither. Seems like once you’ve posted them pictures in a story, they’re stuck like glue. You can’t go movin’ ’em around. Just like you can’t un-spill the milk.
So, what can you do? Well, some folks say you can delete the pictures and post ’em again in the order you want. But that sounds like a whole lotta work to me. Like haulin’ water from the well twice when you only need it once. Ain’t nobody got time for that, especially when you’ve got biscuits to bake and a garden to tend to.
- First, you gotta tap and hold the picture, they say. Like you’re holdin’ onto a stubborn goat.
- Then, you gotta drag it around. But where you gonna drag it? That’s the question. They say you can move it before or after other pictures, but it ain’t always that easy, like tryin’ to herd cats.
Some folks are wishin’ and hopin’ for a way to easily reorder Instagram posts. They want a button or somethin’ that just lets you shuffle them pictures around. But as far as I can tell, that ain’t happenin’ anytime soon. Instagram, they got their own way of doin’ things, and they ain’t always in a hurry to listen to us regular folks.
Now, there is this thing called “pinning.” You can stick three pictures at the top of your page, like you’re hangin’ ’em on the clothesline for everyone to see. But that ain’t the same as reordering, is it? It’s like puttin’ your prize-winning tomatoes on the top shelf, but the rest of the garden is still a mess.
So, the long and short of it is, you can’t just reorder your Instagram feed like you’re arrangin’ flowers in a vase. You gotta work with what you got. Maybe delete and repost, maybe pin some pictures, or maybe just accept that things ain’t always perfect. Life’s like that sometimes, ain’t it? You can’t always control how things turn out, just like you can’t control the weather.
They say you can tap the Instagram logo in the top-left corner, whatever that means. Sounds complicated. I reckon I’ll just stick to my old ways. Post the pictures when I take ‘em and let ‘em be. This whole “reordering Instagram posts” business, it’s just too much fuss for an old woman like me. It’s a young person’s game this social media, always changin’ the rules.
But if you’re one of them young’uns who likes to fiddle with things, go ahead and try. Tap and hold, drag and drop, pin and unpin. Just don’t come cryin’ to me when it doesn’t work the way you want. I told you it wasn’t gonna be easy. This whole Instagram arrangement thing is a can of worms, I tell ya.
And remember, there’s more to life than lookin’ at pictures on a little screen. Go outside, get some fresh air, talk to your neighbors. That’s what really matters, not whether your Instagram pictures are in the perfect order. But if you are going to try and change post order on Instagram, good luck to you, you’ll need it!
